This ergonomic tool features interchangeable heads—a scoop for removing debris like dead leaves, pine needles, and moss, a rake for clearing leaves off the roof, and a brush for sweeping gutter guards. Each head can be adjusted to various angles, ensuring maximum flexibility for different cleaning tasks.
Designed for both hand-held use and attachment to a threaded extension pole, users can clean gutters safely from the ground, minimizing the need for ladders. Crafted from durable nylon reinforced with fiberglass, the tool offers exceptional strength and longevity, while the ergonomic grip ensures comfortable handling during extended use.
DESIGN
Objective & Challenges
The goal was to design a functional, durable, and ergonomic tool that simplifies gutter cleaning. The challenge was creating a multi-functional, adjustable tool without sacrificing aesthetics or usability.
Design Process
I led the entire process—from research and concept design to prototyping and manufacturing. Using 3D printing for rapid iterations, the design evolved from sketches to Photoshop, Illustrator, SolidWorks for 3D modeling, and final renderings in Cinema 4D with Redshift.
